Howdy folks, Was going to go out and saw more but we are having one of those weird Texas weather days and it has the damn red wasps swarming. Hope we get us a frost soon to kill the bastiches! Anyway, didn't want to have to swat wasps all the while I was cutting so I just took these from the soak and photographed them.....Mel This kind of odd thick bodied plumy moss seems to be quite common in the Rio gravels. Got a big one I've going to cut soon. This small one is just kind of OK. Nice solid red on blue agate: I don't cut much of the Rio Grande Jasper but I wanted to see what was inside this one. Pretty stuff.

All of those are cool. That first one trips my trigger the most.
