No feed system for the vise? How are ya supposed to clamp in a rock? I assume the front half of the vise moves somehow. Is there a cross feed?
Sorry Don, but I'm thinking homemade disaster.
ETA: needs more pictures

Bob, I don't represent the seller or the saw. Just spotted it this morning. Questions ? Contact the seller. Or for anyone living in the area, go look it over. It may be junk, but if not, it'd be a hell of a good buy for someone.

I will agree that it looks like it would need a bit of finishing to be usable, based on the photos. From the sizes of the blade pulleys the blade is set to run WAY too fast and if the saw has been used the blade may be ruined. If so the remaining collection of steel is worth maybe $300.00 if the tub is usable IMO. I would only bid if I were close enough to see it in person first Just an opinion.

Hey Don, I understand that it is just something you spotted on eBay. I simply wanted to voice a few concerns lest someone new to the hobby, or perhaps a lurker here that wouldn't ask questions, jumped on this without looking into it further.
All good. And please keep posting potential treasures you may run across!

That's a nice looking saw there Chuck. I have a BIL lives maybe 20 miles from there if you need it picked up.
