Had to paint some film with this subject. Wild patterns of probably an algae forming on the leaves of a plant in the aquarium.

Have planted pollution mitigating wetland plants in some very foul environments over the years. Pollution from soap, bombs, feces, egg shells, mining ops, sewage, blood banks and a bunch of other yucky habitats. Pay is good but conditions less than favorable. Never became infected w/anything at least that I know of.
Of all the environments that were most poisonous to plants were aluminum, then copper from mining operations. Cattails were the most able to survive the metals. They had to control the effluent ratio so as to not kill the cattails. When they did kill them a replanting was required.
Some effluent ponds could be drained and plants thrown into the air and landed like yard darts in the soft muddy bottom. Plants dug with soil left on the roots for a weight.

Yo James ¡ Yep I have a fair amount of ‘taliano in my blood and I think my eyes are hazel although they should be green! because I’ve been Popeye lately I can’t get enough spinach I assumed casentino meant spinach in Italian but the Casentino is the valley in which the first tract of the river Arno flows to Subbiano, Italy. Arno is how my last name is pronounced. Spinach in Italian is spinaci. So Gnoocchi del Casentino might be goose extrusions that flow like a river. Or Arno mouth sometimes But my sister in law (Jean) is all Irish and that where I had Thanksgiving dinner. My brother was showing old pictures (what a hoot) and this one came up. I scanned it in for them. That my Mom on the right, Jean & her uncle. Taken a few years ago.

Irish here. Brown eyes.
Friend has green eyes. Lithianian! She said it was very common for Lithuanians to have green eyes. My parents and siblings have brown or blue eyes.

Lots of stuffed animals on the couch Ed. Hi Mom !!, hope you did not give her too much grief Ed.
A river is a substantial amount of goose extrusion, not swimming in that one. Best not to open eyes when submersed.

I watch the MMA fights, seems like a red head comes out to fight and often wins. Often by persistence. Guessing he has at least some Irish blood. Eye color an interesting study.

Howdy James don’t mean to hijack you goinganocchi thread but you did bring up Irish and this is something I did yesterday that just thrilled me ! The man I’m so happily taking a picture with is Pat McMahon. He is by far the most popular Irishman in Arizona and is quite world renown in certain circles. I got to talk with him quite lengthily. I had a 1963 experience of being on the Wallace & Ladmo show he found incredible. What the occasion was is this artist is making bronze statues of Wallace, Ladmo & Gerald. Who are they you may ask? I know I’ve posted many time about them. Wallace & Ladmo (1954-1983) were a kids show that took place in Phoenix. It came on daily at 4: pm. It also had a morning and noon run later. Pat McMahon played many characters on the show. Gerald (the figure on the right) was just one of many. He was high bred, rich, intellectual ,private school BRAT! Phoenix kids loathed him. Even violently at times. And he loathed us- the public school brats. Anyway those are the clay sculptures that eventually will be bronzed. Quite a process. It’s all to raise money for children. The tall figure behind Pat is Ladmo and Wallace is seated. When it is bronzed it will be placed in downtown Phoenix. You’ll be able to seat yourself and take a picture with Lad, Walboy and the brat ha ha Maybe you’ll even get a Ladmo Bag. beefjello ?

Looks like algae. Bacteria in aquariums, other than on fish, tends to be filamentous.
