post of some photos I took last night with a digital microscope connected to a laptop. some taken with back light. Mounted a plate glass over a aquarium light mounted on a frame. attached microscope over the plate glass. place stones on the glass and attempted to shoot with and with out back light. Some interesting effects. dj

Back lighting can set them rocks on fire. Here is some tumbles with digital camera set on macro, large file setting for cropping.

Rocks laid on glass, backlit from 45 degree angle below with powerful(halide I think) light.
