Tommy, I love it! I've always loved MHPJ & yours is some of the best pattern I've seen. Can we see the back of your pendant? I want to see how you put it all together. Lynn

Thanks Lynn! Sorry but Eva was standing beside me with the gift box in hand ready to wrap it and I didn't think to photo the back. We had our family get-together on Saturday and I finished it that morning just in the nick of time. The piece is already long gone to its home with a *very* happy young lady. I'll try to dig up an older photo that got posted a couple of times that shows the TLO back design - or if we will see you in Quartzsite again in January I'll make sure Eva is wearing one

I made it with a few days to spare although it's after Christmas technically it's still December so I'm figured I'd post my piece. This is not as good a wrap as I thought it was going to be but I was trying a different style that I don't think I have worked out just yet. I'm not great at weaving and the cab was square which made it more difficult for me but I didn't have any other cabs that went well with the dark green craft wire I wanted to use for the weave. I will probably disassemble this one since the outside wires and the back are seriously bent and kinked but before I did I wanted to share a picture for the challenge. I chose a cab of green striped calcite from Utah that I bought several years ago mostly because I wanted a cab from local Utah material. The wire is sterling silver with green craft wire. I thought the colors reminded me of snow on pine trees in the mountains at Christmas. I took a picture of the back but it looks horrible with the wires bent and kinked so I'm not going to show it here. I have my pride you know I figure at least I gave it a try, challenged myself, and participated on here so all was not lost.

Great job, Diane!! I'm not crazy about weaving, either, and it makes my hands ache terribly. You did a nice job- it looks good and as you say- the square is hard to do. I love the colors, too. I'm glad to see you challenge yourself and push your boundaries. That's what I have been doing, too. I've been back doing some silver work and taking my time to make as many mistakes as possible. Thank you for joining in!
