Here's my hose, water pressure regulator, and water splitter. I did have a couple plastic ones set up but one had a couple pin hole leaks so I decided to switch it out to something other than plastic since the pinholes were in the side of the plastic. Anyway, get this contraption hooked up and water is pouring out of the air hole on the regulator (never had done this). I read online and forums are saying the regulator is bad and it leaves all the pressure where it connects when not in use. Where can I get a pressure regulator that has a static hold? Not sure if I'm using the right wordage, but someone said I'd need one that was "static" for when not in use. Thanks, Jimi

Are you saying this one drains the water pressure off when the valve is turned off? Maybe what you need is the simple pressure regulator they sell for RVs. They limit the pressure to 30psi (or is it 50 psi). I'm not sure Wallyworld will carry but any good RV supplier will and probably also available at a lawn irrigation supplie (they might have lower pressure units). Just guessing. I use gravity and it s low pressure. Tom

And no I don't think the water pressure releases when turned off. Still there. Big box stores like Lowez sells them and is where I got my original one. They even have 10psi as well
