how did you get such nice smooth holes in those? very nice. KD I use 2 methods: drill from both sides using a jig to make sure the holes meet in the center. I also drill oversized blanks and grind down until the holes are clean.

This are like cababeads. Fine carvings, got to get the Alabama quartzite to you. It tumble shapes about 3 times faster than hard agate, so it should be easy to grind. May go back this weekend and get better shapes for you.
