Thought it was a virus at first, or perhaps it is.

Isn't it the tradition to change our avatars to a Christmas theme now?

last time I changed mine I caused holiday chaos & hysterics I'll do it again Chaos and hysterics... Do it, Do it, Do it! (Chanting) Hmmm, wonder what kind of trouble I can get into with something like this?? OMG, now I know why jamesp had to use the word "ma ture" in his photo search awhile back when looking for blonds. Clothed is a good one, too, although that's not all that comes up, lol.(Disinfecting eyes now... Some things can't be unseen.) Edit to ad - Ah, I found the perfect g-rated one! This one will do nicely for a couple of weeks.

I like the forum snow!
Snowed HERE in San Jose yesterday. Melted as it hit the ground. It was downtown, but didn't make it to our area. Made front page in the local newspaper section.
In about the 1980 s, it snowed. I was working downtown on the eleventh floor. Good thing, or I would have missed it.
Our "torrent" of rain yesterday was less than an inch.

It's been crazy warm here in coastal VA. DC has been making news with all of their hot air, too.

Pat, I remember snow in San Francisco back in the 70s. That made national headlines. But who needs snow to freeze in SF? I still get shivers remembering fog at the waterfront. As Mark Twain wrote, "The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco."
We got a brief bit of rain down here in the Southland last night but it didn't amount to much: disappointing! I guess we're both on "El Nino Watch" but there's not much encouragement in the 10-day forecast.
