These are very beautiful, Tom. Whereabouts in Saskatchewan are they found? I occasionally travel to Saskatoon for work.

The area is Naicam, not far from Toon town. www.google.ca/maps/place/Naicam,+SK+S0K/@52.4191187,-104.51132,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x53028bf4023e3d23:0x7217ff60836c8cd9 The only area it was found in is now covered by a bulk fuel oil station Thanks for the comments, and I still think I will leave the hearts to the heart master:)

Hi Tom, I was born and raised in Naicam Sk. So good to come across your post. My uncle Art Fouhse used to hunt the dendritic dolomite from that pit back in the 70’s. I am fortunate to have a couple small jewelry pieces he made. Do you have any raw bits or slabs you would be interested in selling to me? I have been on the hunt for it for years but have had no luck. It would be more sentimental than anything as I would love to display a slab as a memory of both where I come from and of my uncle. I would love to have it raw or at least the edge raw. So lovely to have stumbled on this post! Thanks. I am hoping my email will stick here because you can certainly email me at michelemariecoutu@gmail.com. Hope to chat soon
