That is abstract art. Against the right background it could go in a major museum. Oh, and I'd buy an inexpensive print after it became famous. Tom

I like it!
Make one heck of a counter top if it can be found large enough.

Nice looking stuff! Agree with captbob , would make a gorgeous countertop. (Of course, anything would be an improvement over my 60s era formica kitchen countertops, lol!)

Perfect mix of aggregates. In the concrete industry those size/space proportions would be considered very strong concrete. Solid looking stuff.

I could not help but note the similarity to a beach cobble I picked up on the east shore of Vancouver Island, BC near Nainamo. Mine is green rather than grey but . . . I wish I had found more. Tom

Tom Tom , I live on the island and collect all over . If you are ever up this way give me a call. We have some fine breccia here, from Lauralstone ( see my carved bowl ) to white crystal dallasite + black crystal dallasite .

Thanks for the offer. I guessed at what was dallasite when on the beach and collected a few lemon sized cobbles which have now turned into a few gift slabs and a couple of nice cabs. Again, I wish I had collected more. Now if all that green stuff that I collected on the Frazier river just would turn out to be jadeite instead of serpentine, but alas even if it doesn't it will be pretty stuff. We were treated so wonderfully in BC, it will be mighty tempting to come back next summer. Tom
