As some of you know, I have been on this board for years. I got side tracked from rocks for a couple years while I got stuff back in order. I got rid of my 18" slab saw, my Frantom unit and a bunch of other stuff. I found a flat rater in my storage unit full of Woodward Ranch agates, plume agates and a few others that a good friend on here sent me. I need these slabbed up so I can cut some cabs. My proposition is, I'm looking for someone that will slab these up and I will let them keep 1/4 of the slabs or we can work out some other kinda deal. Most don't remember Tmorris and all he did on here to people. I don't want a repeat of Tmorris or the guy in Michigan that ripped off Snowdog. I need someone that is a "standup" person that everyone trusts on here. If you aren't close to southern Wisconsin, I will send them the flat rate box and even pay for the shipping back to me. Here is a pic of what I have and need slabbed.

I done shares before, I have gotten a 50 .. 50 spit, and some 60 .. 40, 60 going to the cutter. the cutter should get more just due to the wear on the blade , overhead, and there time. I would do it but not enough rock for my time

Tony, get a hold of me when you get back. We can work something out for slabbing. Fish, sorry you don't think there would be enough rock in it for your time. I guess you didn't see where I said, "or we can work out some other kinda deal." Plus I pay for shipping to and from. I didn't think 10 pounds or so of slabs was a bad deal for some time and "wear on the blade". Good to know some folks like Tony are still out here.

If you dont want to wait until February for Tony, I can cut them up for you...I have been on the forum for a few years now and done deals with JamesP, Mel and others. And if you need someone to vouch for me, Tony and Roy know me in the real world. Cheers Andy

slab ratio is a moving target. I will cut someones grade AAA ocean jasper for a 80/20 split with 80 going to the owner but if its a common rock like obsidian or common moss agate etc.. then the split is closer 50/50. Then there are the folks that want their garden rocks cut that I do not want any slabs of so some rocks will only be cut for cash and have no trade value. Basically I try to figure out how much I would charge in cash to do the cutting then try to figure out how many slabs I would have to keep to equal that amount.
