This is my rainy day cab. It was raining a lot yesterday (YEA!) so made this one. It is Brazilian that is 3-3/4" across. Bob

bobby1 A person can always pick your cabs out. You make the best large cabs. Beautiful!!!!!
If I can ask, what thickness do you start with and how much time does it take to make your large cabs?....................MrP

I think it's my favorite yet. Looks like a rising sun, or a happy dude with his arms raised.

MrP
This one started from a rather thin slab that I cut many years ago so it took more time to get the (shallow) dome. Total working time was about 2-1/2 hours. Typically I can do a cab up to about 4" in a couple hours. Larger sizes up to 6" take 3 - 4 hours. Bob
