This was my first time cabbing/wrapping Noreena and now I already want more. I had a slab just large enough for two cabs so I figured I would do one groove wrap and one full wrap just to make it more interesting. Thanks for looking Chuck

Great captures on both! I am typically partial to the groove wraps, but wrap on the top one provides a sweet frame. Thumbs up. I cant tell from the photos, were you able to get a high gloss shine on the NJ? I have heard it can be a challenge. Cheers

I went to 50,000 on the nova wheels then tried high quality A/O on leather. As a last resort I even hit them with ZAM on a felt buff which did help but a high gloss never happened. The color and pattern of the stone make up for the lack of sheen I think. Chuck

Very nice.
You titled your groove wrap as Pudding Stone on your Etsy page.

Very nice. You titled your groove wrap as Pudding Stone on your Etsy page. Thanks for the heads up. I do a lot of copy pasting for my listings so that's a side effect. Chuck

Very nice although I do like the full wrap better, the wire seems to set off the colors of the cab.

Thanks everyone. It is nice to hear who likes groove vs full wrap. I think the groove wraps sell better but it might be because of the price difference too. I still like the full wraps on certain stones and thin slabs do not work well for grooving.

I like both types.
I just finished a noreena last night. The pattern is not as nice as yours, though. I love noreena, though I wish it did polish better.

This is beautiful. I have a slab that I've cut once and the cab is polished, but like many I am not happy with the final 'shine.' I will go back and try again following your notes. Thanks! Don
