Hi all, Found this while hounding in stowe, VT. The vast majority of what was out there was quartzite and mica (or horneblend/pyrite/schist) variations. this stood out from the batch as the only stone with this color. any ideas? Maybe Greenstone or Serpentine? thanks!

Might be dolomite...............It's banded and comes in different colors...

try testing for hardness and maybe an acid test with HCl acid to see if it is a carbonate

Possibly chert. Those intrusions remind me of boulder opal. Is there any flash in those veins? In particular the blue areas?
