Looks like some type of coral......The color reminds me of the stuff from Florida and ( or ) the Michigan areas............

If you see any shells in the matrix it would be marine.
Sure looks like a bone structure. A tough one there.

I think this looks like the discs from a spinal column. This might be a good museum piece.

Its not something that can be id'd from a photo. It should be shown to a museum, but without data on where, when, and wwhat circumstances, its useless to science (unless it so unique or rare that those things can be overlooked. Guessing its not teeth, and may be a strange cluster of vertebrae (caudal vertebrae are often nondescript). That central mass on the end suggests a vertebral centrum but . . . . Its a curio. Tom

Took it to Jack yesterday and he thinks its discs from a spinal column too......So we have a University,about a 10 minute drive from me... I will take it over to them,to see what kind of ID they come up with..... I'm not working on it,till it has a proper ID,don't want to ruin it....
