Here are the slabs I got cut today after fnishing the saw & firing it up! 1st slab was from a local rock I found not far from home. Pretty exciting considering it's mostly limestone around here... I'm calling this sedimentary jasper Next I cut a few slabs off a montana agate End cut: This one I cut about 1/8" thick... Living on the edge lol #3 #4 - a hunk broke off with this cut. I'm surprised the saw didn't spontaneously combust lol Now I see what all the excitement is about. Time to build a slab grabber so I can cut some of the smaller stuff I have laying around. Thanks for looking!

Sweet NDK, must feel pretty cool to have built the tool that can do that. Some nice looking Montana, too!

Your local rock slab is pretty cool. Could almost pass for a Deschutes.

Thanks guys!
Deschutes? Maybe in dim light looking sideways lol. I suppose the pattern is similar.
I found some aluminum I can use for a small slab grabber today. I'll pick up some hardware and hopefully get it thrown together this afternoon.
