Does anyone have suggestions for making stone dice? I want to try to make some dice for family members who play Dungeons & Dragons. There would be a 20 sided die, 12, 10, 8, 6 & 4 sided. Is this an impossible feat, or has anyone done this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

I've often thought of doing the same thing but it seems to me that besides normal dice, six siders, you might need a faceting machine?!
Hope someone has better info.

Roland thats funny you say that Roland.when I told my helper(who plays D&D)that I was getting a Faceting machine that's the first thing that popped out of his mouth.not the most cost effective tool for dice production but precise to say the least. Hi Guys This is a project I got fairly obsessed by its an 18 sides faceted die I created it by basically epoxing to 2 pyramid together Take a cube cut diagonally creates 2 pyramids turn pyramid 90 degrees & epoxy the bottoms together grind the 8 points flat and the tops of the pyramids 18 facets. my project isn’t finished and I forget I had a flat lap ha ha when I ground the points that would have greatly assisted in the flats Plus I need to do some touch up buffing and this is a lousy picture do to the brightness of the sun I’ll take some later this evening but its Dark Side of the Moon project on second thought maybe I shouldn’t have ground 2 pyramid tops?
