Seriously, that would be amazing! I've only tumbled one cycle so far which are the rocks that came with the kit. they should be done tomorrow. We were excited to do some, so we weren't very careful or precise with this cycle. I've done a lot of reading since we started and did note the importance of recognizing the different hardness ratings. I'm looking for a good beginners book on rock identification and info that is detailed enough to educate, but not too difficult for my daughter.

I know I'm really late to this party, but if there are any rocks left that are up for grabs I'd love to get them. We're just about to finish our first full tumble cycle and are excited to start another. I have some rocks that I collected when I was a kid, and somehow managed to save from being thrown out by my mom. But, I can't identify most of them and really don't know if they can be tumbled or not. Anyway, I definitely need some rocks and would greatly appreciAte it. Thanks, Alysia If you wet your rocks and they have a sheen or glimmer, then tumble them. If they're dull, then don't.

The Tumbling section on the top of this forum, will be better than any book...The information and education these people had out is totally an A+ in my books! Learned a lot from listening and watching them on this forum...Picked up tumbling pretty easy, after that! Thumbs up....
