Nice weather for paddle boarding. Wonder if they've heard the song "Edmund Fitzgerald"?
Your pictures are already making me excited for spring. I can't wait to get out on the beaches again.

You can tell its January in Norhtern MN when your color pictures are all black and white. Yah the Edmond went down about 25 miles north of this spot I believe. Lake Superior is 360 miles long and the winds have nothing to stop them when we get a noreaster.

40F, damp dark windy and overcast in Atlanta. Might as well be 10F. We have winters that make outdoors miserable too.

Paddle boarding????freakin' nuts.its very beautiful .winter is a strong force, how long till the lake freezes?or does it not freeze Dave Its been a warm winter so far with yesterday being the second night we had below zero...I think a few more this week. I can only remember 2 or 3 times the lake froze completely over and I am 60 plus. Most winters there is plenty of ice to go farther out from shore than I like. In the spring you see guys fishing and open water a few feet away. Sometimes the ice breaks off and the fisherman start floating off having to be rescued (only people the 4 wheelers are with the Edmond. Summer temp of the water is about 40 degrees and you don't need air conditioning if you live in Duluth. Here are some pretty awesome facts. www.seagrant.umn.edu/superior/facts

yea, was outside good bit of the day and was ready to go to the house. Sort of deceptive in that it is expected to be comfortable here. 17F tomorrow morning...
