Beautiful finds! Do you own property on Llagos or Uvas creek? Sure must be a fine stretch of creek you are hunting. I've not seen stream finds as nice and with as much variety as what you are finding in many many years. Back when I lived in Commiefornia, I found a lot in Mariposa County and a little at Pope Valley where a friend had a ranch with a good stream and a little in Indian Valley on the Big Sandy Creek where another ranch friend had a big place but never had the luck you are having. The poppies are sprouting! Found a bunch and a few fist sized specimens. As Mel mentioned the variety is there. If you can't see the poppies they are probably micro poppies. Did a close-up of a yellow rock with poppies of the same color.
