Hi All, For those of you who aren't able to stop by in Quartzsite (or even those who are), I have 600+ pounds of Sonoran Chrysocolla that I acquired from the miner. Really solid stuff, minimal fractures. I only brought one piece to photograph, but it's fairly representative of the whole batch. I'm selling it for $15/lb, with quantity discounts above 10 pounds. Thanks for looking! Jeff

Woooow!! That's some super chrysocolla right there.
If anyone happens to sell slabs from that material, I might be interested.

Hey rxscram I'd slab for part of some if you'd be interested. Hey John, Thanks for the offer, but I've got my own saws to slab it with. I just hadn't gotten to that yet when I did the initial posting. Slabs will be available starting soon! Jeff

Hi Everybody, I've been getting some good cutting time done with my new saws and with the Chrysocolla... I had a few people ask me about slabs, so I'm posting a coupe examples of the slabs that are coming off of it. I'll be asking $35-50 per pound for the slabs. (The larger, harder to get slabs will be $50/lb, smaller slabs more in the $35 range.) First off, here's a great big slab... nice red coloring to it too, almost Sonoran Sunset-y. (Since the chrysocolla is from Sonora, that's probably not too much of a stretch. I've got several of this size. Below that is a smaller slab, but still beautiful. I've got lots of these types.

Very pretty slabs. Have you managed to cab any yet? Looks to me like you could get a lot of cabs out of those slabs and not waste too much rock.

Beautiful slabs! How much do the smaller slabs weigh (avg) ? I don't care for the red in them.

Hi Tela,
The smaller slabs weigh on average around 6 ounces.
Thanks, Jeff

Just got a shipment of chrysocolla from Jeff and it is every bit as good as it looks in the pictures. If you are in any way interested you should take this opportunity to buy. The rock is solid, mostly fracture free, and hard. Plus it has that beautiful blue/green color with a bit of red veining. Looks perfect for cabbing. I bought a lifetime supply and am glad I did.

My parents have taken interest in this crazy obsession and it makes me happy and laugh at the same time. Now they understand, they finally" get it! "
