Pardon the thread hijack but glad to see you got home safely @shotgunner. Good that you got the heck out of here before the heavy rains moved in. It's been raining lizards and frogs all day.

Tis a good point, i'll have him start pulling rare and unusual / uncommon stuff. I should also note that the large green carving in his facebook photo is solid jade, its really nice looking in person. Some of us don't have Facebook. Wanna hotlink it here? I like jade. Here is a photo @shotgunner I forgot how much he was asking but It was around $350 give or take, i'd have to look again for the exact price.

As @shotgunner says: take pics and post asking price(s). I sold 4 large FRB's of Brazilian agates just from posting in the buy/sell category. I listed what I had with a reasonable dollar amount and sold 4 boxes in 2 days. Hold off trying to defend yourself or your friend. It seems to go in the wrong direction on this board when you do. I'd like to see some nice rough whether high demand or not. I like color and patterns (as does everyone else). Anyway, even if you snap some quick pics of what he has to offer and you don't know prices or whatnot it'll at least give everyone a small idea of what his guy has and may keep people coming back to this thread or PM you. glennz01

here are more photos taken off his facebook. It doesn't have his rough per say as he doesn't keep much shop but it gives a general idea of some of the other stuff. When I take photos I will have prices if they are available. I know he has a lot of small brazil agate slabs polished on both sides for $1 and $1.5

I'd like to see polished Brazilian agates slabs in the 2-1/2-3" diameter size range please. I also need to know the thickness. Thanks! P.S. NOT DYED material! I would consider buying up to 50 of them if they look good.

I'll be talking to my boss tomarrow and probably be able to photograph some stuff. Knowing Larry, he has a few of each type of thing and may have several unakite spheres. unclesoska I think the slabs were normal slab thickness, They are not dyed however there is one slab I seen that has a red band and we aren't sure if somehow that band only got dyed or if it is natural (i'm leaning more on the natural side as that looks impossible to dye like that). I'm sure getting a package of 50 slabs will be no problem. I think he has some even larger ones which he sells in sets of 5 for $8. I'll have to get all the details and just sit down with a camera and computer.

I know this has been beat to death but I gotta say Glenn this is the most bass-ackwards way of selling I've ever seen anyone attempt haha. Most people will market specific items with specific photos on Ebay, Etsy, Facebook, etc.
That being said - I'm intrigued by the septarian nodule looking bowl in the very center of your first photo after the jade sculpture. I see it again in the bottom right corner of the 3rd photo and it looks like it has an off-center hole in the bottom. Can you post more pictures of it and how much he wants for it? Thanks.

Will do, Theres soo much stuff I didn't know where to start but I'll just put up photos, dimensions, and names ant take inquiries if anyone has them. If anything is not in stock (been sold since the photos were taken) I will ask him to pull more presuming he has them. I will be going in shortly

Ok so I am going to upload photos very soon.
Here is the mailing info that the owner and I discussed (may change but this is the current plan)
All shipments of fragile materials will be heavily padded, insured, and sent via fedex or usps. He dislikes flat rate boxes due to the damage done to them (I understand as I had several boxes from people that arrived with only 1/10 the original box.
All items will come with a store receipt
With that being said here are some photos (coming very soon.

Here is a photo of 50 slabs I pulled out at his $1.5 ea. Each one has quite a bit of character to them. and does not have evidence of dye to my knowledge. He has darker ones also if your looking for darks. For others interested he has hundreds of brazil slabs of different diameters from 1 inch to 8 inch polished on both sides (this is what he told me and he will bring some in soon)
