Superglue is very strong between flat surfaces. Would it hold up to tumbling ? Opinions ?

Really cool idea. should look great if it works. My first choice would have been 2 part epoxy. I can tell you for a fact it holds rocks better than superglue. learned that the hard way.

Chuck Epoxy it is; it holds boats together. That is telling what it does in a wet enviro. Cut those long ago, and hoping the saw oil is long gone. Could have SiC 220 'ed them in the vibe to give a clean glue face. But oil probably absorbs. Could have residual oil within. Best would have been to cut them in water I suppose. But not doing water on the MK saw blade... Not glued yet, needed such advise and thanks.

I really like the devcon epoxy from the rock shed but in a pinch I have used gorilla glue two part epoxy from Home Depot and that worked good too.

Super glue will hold James. You can heat them in the oven and they pop right apart! Then clean the crunchy glue leftovers with a pocket knife. B sure to leave the rocks in the oven to cool slowly. Also b sure they r dry to start with.

Also b sure they r dry to start with. I read that superglue can bond two pieces of glass so well the bond is stronger than the glass if a lot of pressure is used in some cases. That the thinner the layer of glue the stronger the bond gets. Like one of the strongest glue bonds there is. Was not sure about rocks. Or water. Where the heck are you Bill ? How is that solar energy station treating you ? Seen this $380,000 Earthroamer and thought only you could get the most out of it. I think it has $200,000 worth of electronics in it.

So sorry to hear Bill, our prayers are with you and Mom. Denise says hi. Rough times for you. We should be thankful to live such a ripe age. You got siblings ?
