I have been planning to try Ice Resin for awhile and thought it would be a quick easy project for the pudding stone chip tumble I did last year. The average size of the chips is about 1/8" The pendant trays have a textured surface to help things adhere when glued into it so that texture shows through and in person it does add some shimmer to the piece. Mix ice resin, drip a layer into the pendant tray, add rocks then drizzle more resin to encapsulate them. I also had a customer interested in some pudding stone magnets as gifts so I took 10 tumlbed stones and held the backs to a 100 grit flat lap plate for a few seconds each then epoxied neodymium magnets to them. Thanks for looking Chuck

That's pretty cool. I can see lots of possibilities. I cant take any credit for the idea. I have a friend that was selling them at the last rock show and she told us how to do them. She is really big into gem trees and uses those same chip/stones for here resin pendants. These are a little more special since they are local stones. Chuck

That is pretty neat. I've been playing a little with something similar, guess I should take a couple of pictures.
