You better put about 60%-70% media in their Jimibro. You will be the frosty king. Maybe you want them frosted....

What grit Jimi ?
Got a mixed batch of mostly AL quartzite in AO 500 with same cup of sugar and water. At day 3 they are starting to polish.
Instead of doing a clean out and running straight Borax I just added 2 tablespoons of Borax and a tablespoon of AO 14,000 polish.
Been adding Borax with the sugar in the last day of the AO 500 step. Makes the sugar wash off much easier and still gives that Borax luster.
The quartzite is from where we all went. Better and bigger material than the ranch upstream.
Still having some 4-5 ounce rocks piling to one side even using 40% round pea sized quartz pebbles for filler. One big quartz(not quartzite) has a few frost marks from banging with bigger Rios and coral. The quartzite is more like agate and does not frost easily.

Jimi, that glass is looking good!!!! The action of the Viking is mesmerizing....
I'm curious about something. Being as it's glass that is grinding/polishing, is the slurry any more dangerous (sharp particles, etc.,) than slurry from quartzite or wood or some other rock or does the glass basically go back to silica/sand?

The glass rounds out really fast. I had left water in the Viking for days and it was like a thick clay consistency. Nothing was sharp in the bin. I wouldn't combine glass and somethings hard like wood/agate because it will beat it up and fracture it. Not quite sure what you're asking. Nothing dangerous, all smooth edges

Use3d to get the crushed glass by the bucket at the glass recycling plant Intheswamp. A day or two in the tumbler tames all sharp edges. Nothing missed.

Sweet. Frosted glass is a fast crop. Shame there is not a strong market for it.

Seeing purple, James?...maybe you've been watching too many Hendrix videos??? Reactions may be long term or short term, mild or severe, memory may or may not be affected (can't remember which),....
