Most of these are just a product of cleaning up my workbench of misc. slabs. A few are cabs that were done 100 percent on wheels that I thought could be improved with a run through the tumbler. Some domed some not. Some grooved prior to tumbling some not. This was all the rock in this batch so the other 4 pounds was mixed sized ceramic media Thanks for looking Chuck

Nice work, those look great! Have u ever drilled a hole prior to tumbling? I've been wondering how that would turn out.

I do many things with rocks but drilling is not one of them, lol Doing a full wire wrap on a cab is less frustrating to me then drilling a simple hole. Seems to be a personal preference, some have no issues with it. I would think drilling first then tumbling would be the way to go. The break out issue would be lessened by the tumbling. Chuck

Real nice. What's that blue on the bottom left?

Real nice. What's that blue on the bottom left? Thanks- Dark grey/blue Botswana agate. That one has a weird fracture under the surface running parallel to the cab face so it will just get tossed into my mixed tumbled stone. Chuck

The green ones across the center are painted.

The green ones across the center are painted. All eight of those are from one slab. I think I got that rough from catmandewe years ago. Chuck

They are all amazing, but I'm partial to the picture jaspers. The oval near the center of your group looks like an alien landscape.

All very nice but I'm also drawn to the picture jaspers.
