Place a rock on the ground, provide plenty of sun and Oregon rain and watch things grow!

In salt water aquarium there is what is called "live rock"...seems like they're usually limestone/coral based rock but I suppose most any type of rock that has been in a rich marine-life environment will work. Get a good piece, place in your tank and in just a day or two critters and plants will begin growing out from it...mostly critters. It' really amazing and beautiful. Seems like these pieces of land rock are producing things in a similar way...
