This is the oil I use, and what a fantastic price, Be sure and add at least 2 oz of NO SMOKE Barhall to keep misting down, Some of my friends throw a sheet over the saw to hold misting in check if like in a basement or grange.

I use a beach towel and only wash it once every two weeks once it feels heavy. fossilman $13x4=$52. No need to buy 5th gallon to get free shipping. Any order over $50 qualifies for free shipping. I just ordered 4 gallons and didn't have to buy a 5th. They also ship out super quick. 2 thumbs up!!

I keep the lid down on my saw, till things settle down, with misting and clouds...LOL

thanks for the tip, just sent in an order. I was going to get some at the local farm supply this weekend. This was way cheaper.

I've ordered from Santa Cruz three times now - I won't go anywhere else as long as their prices stay smoking low and the freight stays free.
The best part of dealing with them is the customer service. Acknowledgements and alerts etc. - they give a real customer-centered focus.

I use mineral oil in my trim saw and wonder if mineral oil would work equally well in a 14" saw?

I use mineral oil in my trim saw and wonder if mineral oil would work equally well in a 14" saw? Why wouldn't it? I have a 16" and use this. Most have an 18" or 20"+ and use this. It's what's good!
