Howdy folks, Been busy with the horses and cutting cedar but I had a little time to run the saw yesterday afternoon. Cut these two new Rio grande agates. Thanks for lookin...Mel This one was a regular looking patinated agate that looked to be regular golden moss. Nice golden plume surprise inside. Another blind nodule covered with white patina. Should not even have tried this one as it was too big for my saw. Actually ran the carriage out clear to the end and it was not cut through so I had to pop the end cut off and chop off a thick slab before I got to a part skinny enough to cut most of the way through and get a couple of nice cabbing slabs. Very unusual agate inside.
