Trying to master the art of keeping people warm around the fire pit. This is a 64 inch table with a 36 inch fire pit to have legs mounted. Raising it to beer drinking level. Will do larger tables, say 72" and 96" if concept is marketable. Upside down Right side up, no legs, sitting on another fire pit. Legs to be added so knees can go under table. Heat to radiate up under table and flow out around perimeter. Will be performance tested. Assistant Paul got bored at the end of the day and asked to put a few holes in the disc plasma cut from center of table. 90 yards out. 4 shots propped in center, 6 shots high standing. The 270 with scope would have beat him on the prop, but his standing shots spectacular. His gun is well equipped. He is a trainer and bodyguard. Haven't found the courage to slap him.

I really like the table design/idea! But, of course, I'm gonna play devil's advocate (I should get paid for this). How hot is that "table" gonna get? Would a idjit get burned if they put their knees against it? How about when cousin Bubba sits on it when there is a fire going? Do you have liability concerns regarding stupid people doing stupid things? More importantly, ... what the heck is the tan thing on the end of that girly rifle? PLEASE tell me he doesn't have a laser on an AR (and, his red dot oughta cowitness with his BUIS)

His wife works at the freight company and asked if I would employ her husband. Just a random occurrence. He has been a good one. I paid him by the unit and he worked very hard.

PLEASE tell me he doesn't have a laser on an AR (and, his red dot oughta cowitness with his BUIS)I have no idea how Paul has that gun set up. Will ask what that end device is. He seemed to be operating a push button on it. Might be night vision. He manages a gun range and trains some kind of protective service in handling guns there. He explained the stance and controlling the weight when moving the gun left and right using proper hand placement. I have non-assault design guns, not familiar with them. I have never fired a table arrangement up yet. It is to be tested. Just made it today. If Bubba sits on it once he probably won't do it again. I am hoping the table will distribute the rising heat to the folks sitting around it. Probably an adults only rig. May put a hood on it to get the smoke to rise above those around it. Legs are not installed yet, will make it higher so you can scoot up closer and knees can go under table. Yes, sold them to bars and on more than one occasion they ordered more that were like 32 inches tall so the inebriated would stop falling into them. Wish they had a video. Should be sobering. Liability, well, it's a fact of life these days. Open to devil's advocate's advise.

really cool pit there Sir! Hope they work well and you sell a bunch of them!
Most likely a laser sight. He has a lot of "accessories" on that SBR! (short barreled rifle)
My AR15 is set up for coyote hunting, so all it wears is a Leupold 3x9 scope. Lots of folks like to trick 'em out with all sorts of toys, so someone came up with the term "Tacti cool" instead of "tactical"
While it is fun to put rounds downrange rapid fire, I find more gratification in all of 'em going in a tight 'lil group :-)

You or I could have done better with the scope-on-deer-rifle. I would not want that gun firing at me at 90 yards while trying to get away by foot though. I could tell his tactical moving target skills would probably be effective. AR with the Leopold sounds fun. Magnum rounds unforgiving on man or beast. Next time he wants to see if the steel jackets will pierce 1 inch plate, and thicker. Mentioned the indoor target, a bullet catcher, bullet enters and goes into a spiral structure to prevent ricochet. Bar at a shooting range, hmmm

You never want him behind a scope, looking for you!!! LOL He is good... That is a stand up weapon and will continue to be... When I sighted in the Leupold scope on my AR, I started cussing the rifle after the first few rounds. It was bore sighted, so fired one shot and made adjustments to the scope. Fired another and could see it was in the 1 1/2 orange dot, so fired another and couldn't see the new hole in the target, so was positive the rifle slung that round to parts unknown! I muttered a few choice words and fired one more round. This time the hole was about 1/4 inch away from the other one. I walked to the target and my jaw dropped when I saw the second round I thought had missed had enlarged the hole of the first! I never thought an AR15 could be that accurate! I just swapped some custom jewelry for 500 rounds of hunting ammo for it. In the deal I got about 200 rounds of the heavier 69 grain boat tail hollow points which are suitable for deer. I use the 55 grain for Coyotes and Armadillos Full metal jacket (FMJ) is still relatively cheap to practice with if bought in bulk, but I won't shoot critters with it.

Shotguns require no tacticool gear.
Using Dead Coyote Hevishot for home defence. 92 pieces of 22 caliber hevishot delivered downrange at 1300fps. Gonna make a bloody mess if I have to use it. Better than buckshot IMHO. Wont go thru and thru killing neighbor and makes more holes to leak from.

Only one thing more unnerving than the "Ching ching" of a pump shotgun chambering a round, and that is the little red dot of a laser dancing around center mass!

But they do, get them some toilet paper....
