Used the deadly hammer and the two step. Sounds like a dance. Yes Ed, the other half has fractures truth be known. A bit of a fidgety rock to work with. And your Governor is not allowed to take them back. Fingers intact. in quarters and closer

Sure looks good enough to eat. Kinda like a fruit salad plate.
I'm startin' to think that you could tumble cat poop and make it shine!

*LOL* Don't fight it, captnbob. Just think, any day now you might receive a package of cat poop in the mail *with* instructions...you just never can tell!!! Personally I'd take it and throw over the fence in the chihuahuas pen...that might get'em a night's stay at the vets see that there poop "ain't right"....and you might get a good night's sleep. Great looking eye-candy, James!!! That's encouraging for me!!!

What people can't see is the depth of the rocks. Looking into them you see clouds of , sparkles, specks,...just a whole nuther world in there!!! They are great candidates for the back light. Some strange critters floating around in there. Some have the glitter, they are nice. Quartzite is like welded sand and doesn't have crystal planes/layers/lattices(not sure the wording). Easier to tumble than rose quartz and amethyst, they have those layers captbob would likely send something back in return. Not starting that battle.

Just a small anecdote... Speaking of sending things. I'm not sure how it worked out on down the road but I got tired of a certain (predatory, but aren't they all?) credit card company sending me notices of "pre-approved" credit cards. I finally cut the prepaid return labels off of their correspondence, taped them to some bricks and mailed the bricks back to them using their postage. I didn't think it'd work so before doing it I checked with my letter carrier...he said he didn't see why it wouldn't go. I walked up to the counter and they took the bricks like any other mail. I wrote something on the sides of the bricks that was non-flattering about the cc company. They were pretty Alabama bricks, too, but not as pretty as that Alabama quartzite.

That's too damn funny and smart! May be able to clean up my yard and get creative with that notion! I still need to work those bricks you sent me and send ya some stuff back. Sucks when you're busy

Sucks when you're busy I used to fill the return envelopes with trash and mail them back. Also took subscription cards from magazines and subscribed a person for all kinds of stuff. Checked 'bill me'. All topics. Cosmo, cooking, gay porn, trucks, pie making...... Lol

Devious minds think alike. Knew a guy way back in high school that a friend & I didn't like, and we signed him up for every magazine and other "bill me later" thing we could find. Went to stores and just took the "bill me later" subscription cards out of dozens of magazines. Amazing what you could get with out having to pay for it immediately, but this was almost 40 years ago. Best item was some expensive Civil War themed chess set that cost hundreds of dollars. That guy must have spent countless hours trying to get out of all that stuff. rotten to the core!

His wife was less than pleased about the onslaught of gay porn mags. The fisting one really had her talking! My partner in this crime was filling out one or two a week for months.all I had to do was go to the stores for the cards... Ha-ha! Great minds think alike.
