Sorry Shattered Halo Designs, I never saw your post until now. Unfortunately I am no longer in California, but I plan on going back in the coming months. Winter in southern Cali is prime time for hunting minerals and rocks, easy too. All you got to do is walk and look at the ground for anything that catches your eye. Petrified and agatized wood litters the whole area of northern Imperial county, at least around Niland.
I don't have anything for sale at the moment... in the near future that might change. I have to get my ducks sorted.

Good to know I are coming back to Cali. Maybe I can make a road trip out and you can see more than a mile from Niland.
Indian pass isn't far and maybe Jean will offer us other spots to check out.

I got a trained eye for desert treasures, Scott, but I believe, due to my circumstances, I can't be back in Niland until I get my life straightened out, which will be around December-January. I was hoping to go earlier than that, but it's not feasible at this time.
