I've got all the major parts in the garage, waiting for the blade flanges and then to go buy oil fittings and other small things. Should have one assembled w/o paint, the tubing, etc as a show and tell in a couple days. waiting for it to warm a bit in the garage.....tried the other day, was just too dang cold. talked with a major lapidary manufacturer, and looks like they might take my design and run with it... Cool, huh? If you imagine a Lortone on steroids with lots of improvements and modifications we've all longed for, you'll pretty much have an image. Been a long time coming! Whew! But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Got the blade flanges Saturday. Dang. they sent the wrong shaft diameter. So gotta send them back for re-machining. Another 2 weeks setback. Dang.

Yep. they ended up at $800 each. Still way cheaper than any other 14 or 16 inch saw. The 4 I made sold fast. didn't even get one for myself! Gonna have to make another one for me!
