From a trade with Roy. Sure he knows what it is. Just throwing it out for those wanting to give it a go.

Yup, WAY better than the more common stuff out of India. This lace is pretty hard to find. Not ONE listing for this on eBay, TONS of listing for the zebra agate from India. Nice piece too! ETA: although.... should you want to go to the eBay rock section: www.ebay.com/sch/Rocks-Fossils-Minerals-/3213/i.htmland do a search for Zebra Lace, I highly recommend it. Just not if your wife is in the room.

Yes Rich. The laces are in this, and the absolute same red areas. I get it now, the cab shows great detail. Black plumes + crazy lace like fortifications. I will probable get cussed for making tumbles out of it. May cut it into cab pre-pre forms and then tumble it. So it could be cabbed later. I think I owe roy for this one. I think I made him happy with a rare bizarre specimen coral sawn in half. I think he dug this from the old stock bin.

Thanks for heads up.

That's a 5 lb chunk? And you are going to tumble it?
*sigh*
I take it you did not go to the link above and do a search for zebra lace ...

Wow! Do not break up for the tumbler. Site is claimed as a silver mine now and no more lace is is coming out. Top it off, much was blasted and heavily fractured. A hunk as nice as what you have is rare rare rare to see. Yours may be the best I've seen in years.....Mel

Yes, I did search Ebay and other places. I did ask Roy for some rocks to tumble in a trade. Apparently he treated me too well. Not the first time I got in trouble for tumbling fine rock.

Will carve/cut spheres or cubes. Treat it with respect. If I had a bigger barrel I could tumble the whole thing.... roy got me in trouble. Roy, did you set me up LOL ? I never buy rocks, and only trade on occasion.

You didn't do the search or you would have said something Click the link, type zebra lace in the box up top and click search (explaining a joke ruins it)
