Covid protection of my fire pit business

Studied and studied on how to load a 250-350 pound pallet into a P/U with a camper top without using another internal combustion machine.
Hard on back and risky for fingers, a heavy pallet simply difficult to handle.

12 volt hydraulics about as trouble free as it gets. A system that can be pushed manually.
This machine plugs into wall and charges battery.

Looked and looked for something to load such and no luck finding it. Lest you bought a full bore fork lift.

You would think there would be a high demand for such.

I did notice the welding sure did go easy on the fork extension because of being able to raise and lower the work at hand.
Can rest assured this lift will come in handy for 'heavy' projects requiring a lot of grinding and welding. Nothing like changing heights on a weldment.
Even if you parked it in your shop as a an adjustable height work table. Bolted to the floor...

Big Joe can be picked up used $400-500 all day. Lift mechanism exact same as a commercial fork lift, last many years even outside.

Sent photos to Big Joe Inc. and asked them why they do not have a polished version to sell.

You may laugh, but was considering a seat on the back with a bicycle drive to to propel it.

Mounted 12 feet high. Somewhat of a weather maker. Dumps 22 gallons per minute at 70 feet throw with 1/4" nozzle.
Will probably change to a 3/8" nozzle for 34 gallons per minute with an 85 feet throw.
Set on half circle and placed in center point of yard and on drive side.
1" line feeds it.
Will mount on castors so it can be rolled out or out of way. 42 inch base.
No more moving sprinklers around. Less than 1/4" rain in two months, hot and breezy.

Throws far clockwise, throws close counter. It is set on half circle so it does reverse. It also has dual jets, one for close.
If it passes over you one pass your pretty wet.
Doing about 22 ounces per square foot per hour. Almost two standard beers.
Takes wife 7 sprinkler placements and two days and associated whining verbiage.
Welded wheels up under the base so she can roll it out easily as she sees fit.

I would guess a shorter version would be practical out at the meter before the pressure reducer.
Most municipal water supplies are 1 inch and high enough pressure.
If well located it would nail most residential front yards. I would put a lock on the valve.

Been here 2 weeks and probaby lost 10 pounds. Been more of a social and exploration trip. Some all day travels on the little boat and the ATV. Both slow moving machines but travel intimate with nature. Using the 14 foot flat bottom boat on these big lakes requires running the shore when storms kick up. Best way to see the wildlife activity. Chased 3 deer standing out in the lake near Silver Glen a couple of days ago with the go devil. Rear deer stepped in a tilipia hole and totally face planted, captured on camera. Rode 2 hours to the old post office pilings out in the lake where the steam boats used to drop the mail to probe the old pilings for bottles. Winds had blown peat in and messed that treasure hunting trip up. Some bottles at steam boat stops and even old Spanish travel stops worth a fortune. Site where post office dock was placed must have also been a cleared by native man as artifacts abound. Easier back then to travel by boat than thru the scrub. Any old dock pilings out in the lake signify old settlements. Need another hurricane Francis to push the bottom of the lake into the woods to expose treasures. The native camp at my place has 3 feet of sand covering it. Mostly from storms and wind blown erosion.
Leaving in a few on the ATV whilst cool trail riding deep into ONForest. May hunt for a new sink hole to fish. Or artifact spot.
Later today headed to Mount Dora to go out w friends. Next to Fernandina my favorite urban place in Florida. Should take wife there, she can spend lots at the shops and diverse food. Strange hilly spot that has San Francisco appeal. Lots of money and for those interested serious cougars for your viewing pleasure lol. Chain of lakes, me and friend boated them yesterday. Talk about big water. Caught bunch of bass. I smoked both of them w green plastic worm aka Georgia bait. They had to eat humble pie and convert to aka 'Georgia bait'. Sweet victory. Going back down tonight to get a taste of the night life in that town.
Looks like a cloudless hot day. Fingers crossed for some clouds. Amazed at heavy rain on your side of Florida. Only afternoons here. Some of them very strong storms.
Gonna have to install some creature comfort at this camp. Aging body challenged by lack of convenient set up.
Packing ATV. First time ever going in the forest with GPS. Darn smart phone makes weather and location info at fingers reach. Kinda spoils any risk factor. Not sure it is a good thing. Promised I would never use gps. The forestry serice does not allow unregistered ATV or travelling on unnumbered roads. At hell w/them. Would love a cat and mouse w/ them, done it before. Idiots will even get the helicopter out. Something to hope for, probably won't get so lucky. Get caught, only $300 from what I hear. They just use the forest as a timber crop and are criminals. Make lots of money with their sterile forestry operations to finance their do nothing jobs.
