You guys are all the same, always buying new toys!!! @shotgunner, glad the pawnshop thieves didn't take your gun. I mean, you would have had to go through all the paperwork again, and start another ten day wait period! I'll bet the pawnshop owner was just sick over it, knowing he sold the tool of destruction to the thief, who then used it against him. Did I ever tell you, I HATE THEIVES! String 'em all up! Or maybe start removing digits, hmmm.... I like the Old testament approach, remove the hand.

Or maybe start removing digits, hmmm.... The shop owner is the dude I did biz with. He was sick, because most of those were pawned items he had to be imburse his clients for. Some were sold, and just a couple were inventory (he owned them). He was also on the warpath. Considering how many firearms he has access too, he actually had to stay home a day or two to decompress.
There is a regular feature in the weekly San Diego Reader called "News of the Weird." Had to laugh when I read this in the this week's paper, under the heading of "Least Competent Criminals" (true story, but I have changed the names, to protect the stupid) - Jerry Watson, 30, and Jessie Hardy, 24, were charged with aggravated burglary (a PlayStation and other electronics from a man's home) in Clarksville, Tennessee in August. The pair had offered the haul to a Cash America Pawnshop but did not realize that the home they had burglarized was the pawnshop manager's.
DOH! Poetic justice. How's that for some Karma with a capital K!?? LOL.
Do you think the thief would be dumb enough to try to sell it to another pawnshop?
Was thinking of the pawnshop Scott is purchasing his gun from when I read this. Hope those perps get caught, and the owner gets the goods back!

Some years ago the chief of police in Tillamook, OR saw his wife's car in a gas station, wondering if something was wrong at home, he pulled in to find and catch the thief who had stolen the car.

Bullseye Gun Shop in Doraville(Atlanta Rhythm Section Doraville) kept getting robbed. My hood. Owner camped out in the shop, thieves broke in, shot 3, one died instant, one later, other permanently damaged. Rock on dude. A hero.

Jean confused ? Not. Memory galore
She has a registered name. Will have to ask her Mama what that is. I call her Mud Pie or just Pie. She is one tough cookie, holds her on with the adults and does not back down. She has already got scars all over her, she pushes the big dogs too hard and they throw down on her. Concerns me a bit.

Did not even see this until you dredged it up, lol. Just because I have it, don't mean it works all the time.
California banning people from buying certain guns, AR15, etc. Law goes into effect January 1, but with a ten day waiting period for background check, it is already too late to get one from nor normal channels. The criminals and gang-bangers still got 'em.
So what is MudPie registered as? Hmmmm?
ETA - nice BIG pits, BTW.

'Rokishoals It Girl' rockpickerforever. An 'It Girl' is like royalty that gets chased around by paparazzi 's That's the way it was explained to me. Think about how many gangs are in LA. AR15's will get in their hands. What does Trump have to say about this ? Must be that gun regulations fall on state authority. Cali must be angry about the Trump appointment. I know you guys have the funky laws.

I like the new pit. Very sleek looking. 4 1/2 feet of fire goodness!
What does a 55" top weigh? Take two people to put it on the pit? Any handles on the lid? With only a 1/2 overhand, there is a potential for some smashed fingers setting the lid on with no handles.

That new pit is nothing short of beautiful!!! Seriously, it looks like a work of art. Hell, it would make a sweet bird bath, too, or planter.

Make a glass lid and fill it with your tumbled rocks.

With only a 1/2 overhand, there is a potential for some smashed fingers setting the lid on with no handles. Cover is 85 pounds. Suggested to purchase with fold down handles on each side. One handle does well, lift it up on edge and roll it like a tire. That 230 pound fire pit rolls like a tire, I never pick up pits and covers, just roll them. May lift one side, but that cuts total weight in half.

Looks similar to Olympic fire bowls used over the years. This 42" is similar and new. May be hottest seller. Etsy analytics has it as #1 viewed fire pit. Pup not included Me and wife very competitive on Etsy. So I GAVE her a bunch of fire pits to plant up. She listed them on her shop. What a loser, she sold one this year lol. I kick her arse now. For 5 years she has bragged about kicking mine. What goes around came around. I quintupled her sales this year. In the past she usually doubled mine. Now she works for firepitsatlanta and is slave to my every whim.
