Hello everyone, I'm a long time crazy rockhound, reading on the forum got me inspired to try to make a cabbing machine (thanks). I can get for cheap or already have a lot of the stuff i need from around the shop. Can anyone tell me if this is a good place to start for a 6 wheel machine. www.ebay.com/itm/rle-FULL-SET-SIX-6-DIAMOND-PACIFIC-WHEELS-GENIE-NEW-/130642458063?hash=item1e6ae5b5cf Secondly would i be better off buying other stuff for the same price? What would you get if you had to buy all new stuff? I live in Canada and it's just easier and cheaper not to order from a bunch of different places. Who are the cheapest/best suppliers online? and if anyones still reading do you know if there are DiY type instructions online to build a machine? Sorry to be such a bother but i'm really excited about this! ! Thanks Alan

I order my nova wheels, trim saw blades and a bunch of other stuff from that eBay vendor all the time. Great prices and never had any problems with my orders.

Thanks for the info I'm new to this so I wasn't even 100% sure the ebay ones weren't knockoffs.

I bought the cabbing equipment from estates and then the replacement wheels etc. from ebay, presumably from the same "nova wheel" guy Chuck mentions. So I'm another satisfied customer. You will never regret it. I started as a cabber, and I still love doing the early shaping on the wheel before I go to the tumbling. You're going to love it. I think my cabbing wheels are responsible for taking me from a simple mineral and stone collector to more of a tinkerer and a stone polisher. They awaken your creativity.
