When I cut through a piece of Picture Jasper the other night I discovered an eye. So I made another cut and had two eyes! Polished only the "eye" side - to use as display specimens. The photos do not show the polish as I still have no skill with the camera.

This is the best (so far) results I've had with Shattuckite rough (from Jeff @ Barnhouse Lapidary). This is beautiful material and I'm learning to handle it. It holds together well and takes a great shine. I've tried a couple of layers of PrrotectaClear (Everbrite) to seal this pendant and will see how it holds up. Thank you Jeff for this wonderful rough!
