hmm does this look like Amber?Found in my creek been many different types of rocks/minerals found in my little creek.Every time I show my husband stuff he is like not likely.Like the fossilized coral or pet wood pieces,he just thinks the creek is full of dumb rocks. www.flickr.com/gp/139131433@N07/3EwMQbwill get some better pics when I finally have two days off in a row...which is this weekend final polish on 1&2 will be done this weekend

Looks like agate to me. I see some banding at bottom right and it is translucent. Chuck

Amber is organic and will smell like pitch when touched with a hot needle, though it does look like bugs in it.
