I picked up this rock at an area known for beryl and other crystals. It looked like it might have some nice smoky quartz and it seemed heavy for its size. I put it in the tumbler for a week to see if it had anything useful under the feldspar and mica and then pulled it for the slab saw, after I shaved the first cheek off I was intrigued enough to take a slab off it and was excited to look through and see a greenish transparent crystal, but alas it fell in half and I realized it was just a nice clear bit of mica...
