Howdy folks, Been raining so not much going on. I've been trying to cut into some of the oddball Rio finds. This one had big orbs on the exterior but inside the markings are very vague. Appears to be a close relative geologically to Cheetah and Tiger tail jasper. Dark spots appear to be hematite....Mel

Judging from past experience with the hematite in Tiger tail jasper, the hematite polishes out nice and silver colored in this type material....Mel

All these slabs you have been cutting would make one heck of a fireplace surround. Like a brick faced fireplace but with Rios.
Or, maybe re-tile a walk-in shower with them!
