I seen on the forum Jeremy was in the Conroe tx area and I was going to be working there. I contacted him and asked if there was a possibility of showing me where all those cool rocks were coming from. He said come on down. We exchanged emails and kind of set up a time to meet, I was setting up a project and couldn't make it at that time and was a couple hrs late. He said he would wait around and met me there about 5 pm. It turned out I had worked down stream from where he showed me last fall and went through the gravel pit piles of rocks and found nothing except pet. wood. Well Jeremy has the eye and was throwing things in my bucket, about a half a dozen palm wood, sagenite, banded agate, jaspers. I ended up with about a forth of five gal bucket of potential which I will take some pics of later. He said I was welcome anytime.... Nice to put a face to all the posts and even greater that hes a super guy. I have met 2 people so far from this forum in person and have had 2 great experiences, says alot about the people on here and their willingness to share. Jeremy gravel bar Jeremy again, made him look up as his eyes are usually looking down. I will post some of the booty after the rains start, they say up to 10 inches and if I am still here next week the gravel will have renewed.

Billy, It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday! I hope you are able to fill a couple more buckets before heading home. Like yourself, I have met 2 RTH Members in person and both have been fantastic! Thanks for posting the adventure and look forward to seeing some of finds cut and or polished!!!!

Some nice finds. If that was not on private land though I would delete the arrowhead pic since artifacts like that are illegal to collect on BLM land.
