These moonstone pieces might be the most gemmy thing I have ever tumbled. The material is very fracture prone and out of the 3 pounds of rough there may be less then a half pound that were tumble worthy. The rest really should be cut around all the bad areas then cabbed for rings and such. I ran the whole load including all the highly fractured pieces then sorted out the good ones. a few others from the batch The moonstone rough Thanks for looking Chuck

Those moonstones are cool. I just love the patterns in the crazy lace agate though.

I have some moonstone I received from NatureNut which I have yet to tumble. I need to get on it. Your stones are amazing.

Chuck You did a good job with the moonstone and I see your memory is as good as your tumbles. That was some time ago. Have had moonstone on my to do again list as I have given most of it away. Kicking myself for not buying the multicolored when the Rockshed had it. Links to my moonstone tumbles ... forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/655435/threadforum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/727106/thread
