I had been in touch with a guy for a while who advertised a rock collection for sale. He lives in California but has been traveling back and forth to close out his dad's estate. Our schedules finally matched up and I got to go see what he had. There were other folks there checking out various items (antiques, glass, etc.). I zoomed in on the cabinet with the rocks and saw there was some pretty nice stuff in there. Asked what he wanted and he said make an offer. Offered $120 and he said sold. Here's what I got Some nice polished agates Some fossils The split ammonites were labeled as being from England. Not sure about the other or the trilobite. Indonesian coral and peanut wood from Australia. Tampa coral, red coral and coprolite from Utah and Eden Valley wood (?) Some pretties Some super flashy labs and a chunk of sulfer Rainbow obsidian, flashy colors Dryhead Beautiful copper oxide slab Some colorful stuff Amazonite, OJ, turquoise, malachite, chariote Amy, rhodocrosite, larimar and rutilated quartz Last but not least, dino bone A lot of this is in my cabinet. I must say it looks pretty good in there

Yeah, what he said - OMG! You say it looks good in your cabinet, I'll bet it would look good just about anywhere! All of it wonderful stuff.
Nice haul, Brian, and great price! Those lessons you've been taking from me on how to be cheap have paid off. Next, you'll have sellers paying you to take stuff of their hands. (And you are always accusing ME on stealing things, lol).
When you get deals like this for a song, do you at least sing one to them?
(I keep coming back to look...)

Nice haul Brian! That yellow dino alone at least tripled your money - more if you cabbed it all.
