I pulled this after a week in my tumbler, it's a cool rock. It's hardness of 7, streaks white. Feels kinda heavy maybe for its size. so what this picture doesn't show is in the rough spots on top it's glittery, like little tiny crystals. This is the bottom of the rock after I sprayed it. check out all them cool lines:

Bottom view looks a lot like Aussie Pilbara Jasper.....Mel

I think it's a beautifully patterned quartzite. It should take a pretty good polish.

I think it's a beautifully patterned quartzite. It should take a pretty good polish. Adrian Yes that's what I was leaning towards. It's a neat rock. Pretty fractured though.
