Good afternoon rock heads! Here's a recent wrap I did. Some grade "A" lapis wrapped in sterling. I got the Lapis from a serviceman stationed in Afghanistan so you know it's the good stuff... ;-) As always... thanks for looking. Dan

Lovely. Lapis (and most blue stones) are real favorites of us humans. Great wrap.

The shine on that Lapis is unreal! Some people would like to be able to put such a shine on agates.

Nice piece, love the color.
Is it true taliban or similar evil have taken the quarry over from its rightful owners?

Nice piece, love the color. Is it true taliban or similar evil have taken the quarry over from its rightful owners? I honestly wouldn't know. I purchased the rough from a US serviceman stationed in Afghanistan who was buying from street vendors. 4 lbs for about $90. Beautiful material with very few inclusions of Calcite and only tiny specs of Pyrite. Dan
