You know it's a good one when it gets a video. I'd polish that one the rest of the way on your wheels. The two corals will tumble well, and the black does pretty well in the tumbler. That brownish colored matrix that I think I saw in the video is softer and doesn't tumble well.

I will polish it and it will go into my Petoskey display. You are correct about the brown area. In the first photo you can see the top and down the right side is kind of brown. The area surrounding the cladophora is a more black. Chuck

I haven't seen one as nice as yours, but mixed fossils in a single rock is not all that rare. I really like yours though. It has a nice example of both Petoskey and cladapora coral.
That Petoskey has kind of dead eyes, but the rest of it is awesome.

northern Pet ah ski or southern pet ah ski ? Difference can be significant Chuck, you killed the polish on that pet ah ski

Maybe it's more like Puh tah ski. Since it's named after an Indian chief from the north, I'd go with the northern pronounciation. Petoskey
