Cutting this small piece of Maury Mountain Moss today. About 4" by 4" Bad fracture on right.

Hope to head out there later this spring - any hints of what direction to head from the main parking spot? Found some float and a few darker pcs last summer digging, but hoping for a bit more color. Pretty stuff.

Pretty stuff. My wife found an estate sale years ago and bought every rock they had for 100 bucks, been cutting ever since and got a lot of Maury, red and green. Never been to the digging site but what I have was probably collected in the 1950 or 60's.

Got 6 slabs before I had to take it out of the saw. This pictures shows 5 and the chunk.
