The smooth river stone shape is sheer beauty to me Been using a DP Genie, need something with more flex than the foam backed Nova wheels. ? Any equipment out there that would flex more to allow for rounded edges?Note: I will tumble some of the stones. But, some are too precious or soft. Regards, Chris

rotary tumbler is the best option for that river pebble shape. use finer grits and more cushion for softer stones.

If they're really precious, I still use my opal maker w. nova wheels. But for a lot of stones, I have some larger 8 inch diamond wheels... You can get a lot of pre-forms rounded fairly quickly. But if the goal is control, I would still maybe just use what you already have. Not a very glamorous answer and a real expert may give different advice...
