In the Wet after pic you can see one that is all broken up..That was the one from the top row center of the after pic...The color went about 85 percent to the core...Not to bad for an agate grilling...

OK, question After heating them up did you quench them in any thing?

OK, question After heating them up did you quench them in any thing? We let them cool down with the coals. We thought the water would crack them ..when they were able to be held by hand without being a hot potato we rinsed them in water. It was about 4 hours total time....

I know with Montana moss agate and Ohio Flint,its an hour per set(letting it set with a controled heat),with heating going up and the same going down,with the heat..(For cooling purposes)... I have the recipe somewhere here..
